SHIPPING & RETURNS

U.S. Domestic Shipping

All orders will depart from our warehouse within 2-5 business days to the address provided (this does not include transit time with the carrier). Items may be shipped via USPS or UPS from our warehouse in Mandeville, LA. You will receive an email confirmation once your items have been shipped. We are not responsible for any delays caused while items are in transit with the shipping carrier.

For large releases, sales, and Holidays please allow up to 7-10 business days for your order to ship.  Pre-orders state the ship date clearly and you will also receive email notification once the item(s)ship.

Please be aware that we cannot combine orders, ship partial orders, or add discount codes after orders have been placed. Orders get packed from our warehouse and these workers can not alter orders once placed.  Thank you for your understanding.

We are not responsible for orders shipped to a wrong address if it was the address provided for us to ship to.  Please be sure to check the shipping address when placing an order to ensure proper delivery.

We are proud to offer Free shipping applies to all orders over $75 (excluding the times when we offer big sales). We do our best to provide great shipping rates, for orders less than $75 we charge a flat rate of only $5.

Outside U.S. Shipping

At this time we only ship domestically within the U.S.  Should you be interested in placing an order from outside the U.S. please send an email to hello@myhometownbaby.com with the size and name of the items you are interested in along with a shipping address and we can give you a shipping quote and prepare an order.

Returns & Exchanges

We hope that you love our products but in the event that you are not satisfied with your order, you may return the items ( except for FINAL SALE item(s)) that you purchased from myhometownbaby.com within 7 days of receiving your package.  You must contact us to initiate a return; we do not accept packages that do not have return authorization.

Please review our return policies below. 

RETURNS:

We want you to love your items as much as we do but we understand there will be times when an exchange/return may be necessary and we are happy to accept returns so that you can find something that better fit’s your families needs. Please make sure that all items are being returned with tags, in the original packaging, unused, and unwashed within 14 days of the date received.  We can not accept returns without a return authorization so be sure to send an email before returning an item.

Returns will be refunded to the original payment method. Please note that there is a flat rate $7.50 fee for the shipping label/restocking and handling fee deducted from the amount returned to you. As much as we would love to offer free returns, as a small family owned company we are unable to do so at this time. If you choose store credit or your item is being returned due to a manufacturer defect the shipping/restocking fee will be waived.

We process returns within a 2 week window of receiving the package. Once we receive your return/exchange, funds will not be returned to your account until the product is received at our facility and found to be in new, unused condition. This can take up to 14 business days. We do try and get to them as quick as possible and will notify you once we process the claim via email.  Any item that is not in new condition will not be refunded and the customer will be responsible for covering the shipping cost to send the item back to them if they choose to keep it. Please keep tracking info of your returned package.  We can not be responsible for misdirected or undelivered packages.

International Returns (From Outside the US): Customer will be responsible for the return fees.

EXCHANGE:

Due to limited stock / availability product exchanges may not be possible.  Many of our prints are limited releases so if we have the same item in the size you need we will be happy to exchange it for you; however, if the item is not in stock in your desired size, we will issue a store credit and you can place a new order. 

SALE & CLEARANCE: 

Clearance, sale items, and any items purchased during sales and promotions are considered FINAL SALE upon payment and are not eligible for cancellation, return, refund or exchange.

In the event a product is sold out, My Hometown Baby has the right to refund the item and ship the remainder of the order.  If the entire order is sold out, My Hometown Baby has the right to cancel the order and refund the amount paid. We strive to keep our inventory up to date; however, life of a small business occasionally happens and we will have to refund an order. 

Should your package be returned to us by the postal carrier for any reason (such as incorrect addresses, abandoned parcel, unable to deliver, etc…) we will cancel the order and a refund minus shipping will be provided. We can not guarantee if an item is returned to us that it will be available to repurchase as many of our prints are limited releases.

DAMAGED /DEFECTIVE ITEMS :

If your item arrived damaged or became defective due to a manufacturer’s defect within 7 days from the date of purchase, we will gladly help you replace the item. You must email a picture of the defect and your order receipt to hello@myhometownbaby.com . All claims for items that are damaged/defective upon arrival or were not received must be submitted within 7 days of the date the item is marked delivered by postal carrier. Should the item be a clearance item you will only be issued the amount paid for the item.


FABRIC DISCLAIMER AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

My Hometown Baby fabrics are 95% viscose bamboo and 5% spandex . We proudly stands behind their products and guarantees the highest product quality. This guarantee applies to the original purchaser only and does not include normal wear and tear, dye fading, fabric thinning, pilling, or damage to the material from outside forces. Please contact hello@myhometownbaby.com if you believe you have received a defective product.  We will evaluate the claim and at our discretion make a judgement on how to proceed.

When washing any of your My Hometown Baby products you want to use a detergent that doesn’t contain any fragrances, dyes, or other extras that can irritate your baby’s sensitive skin.  We have put much thought into protecting your baby's skin so let's continue that through washing.  We recommend that you avoid anything that has optical brighteners as well because they can sometimes interfere with colors.. A gentle cleaner is all that is needed; bleach should never be used, white vinegar added to the wash is a natural fabric softener . Harsh detergent can leave residues that can cause irritation or strip the fabric’s softness so try to avoid them.

This is the best way to wash your bamboo clothing:

  • Handwash(but we are mammas too so we understand if you can't)
  • Machine wash delicate cycle in cold water and do not use agitator
  • Wash with like fabrics inside out with buttons down to get the most life out of your fabrics.
  • Tumble dry on low or lay flat to dry.

These are just recommendations, My Hometown Baby is not responsible for damages that may occur during your wash routine and/or stain treatment so please take care when washing to ensure a long life of your garments. The use of chemical treatments, stain pens, tough scrubbing, etc. may weaken/discolor/damage the fabric and is not considered a manufacturer defect covered under our replacement warranty.  We have great success washing ours in a natural detergent/vinegar solution and laying flat to dry.
